Draping for fashion design

This course covers basic to intermediate draping techniques including: Preparing and marking the dress form Draping bodices, skirts, and sleeves Manipulating fabric to create pleats, gathers, and twists Translating drapes into paper patterns Whether you're an aspiring designer or expanding your technical skills, this course builds confidence in visualizing and constructing garments with precision and creativity. Prerequisites: Basic sewing skills are helpful but not required. Materials: A supply list will be provided upon registration. Dress forms will be available in class. Session starts on Thursday August 21st & continues for the next 5 Thursdays. 5:30-8:30pm Cost per course $600 for a total of 6 classes/ 18 hours
