Beginner Quilting Workshop Make a Bag!

Learn basic quilting techniques. Practice piecing and sewing straight lines as well as setting zippers, binding etc. Create quilted items as zippered make up bags, organizers or totes. This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to quilt. This workshop will focus on learning basic stitching skills to make it easier to baste and quilt in this beginner class. The instructor Ms. Lisa will guide you from setting up the provided pre-cut fabric pieces, pressing & piecing them to create a quilted zipper bag, two styles to choose from. Participants will receive a precut fabric bundle with a written pattern to keep for future use. Workshop hours 9:00am-4:00pm with 45 minute lunch. This workshop will take place one Sunday every month. Cost $125 includes all fabrics and materials, use of sewing machine and all sewing supplies plus refreshments and snacks provided. register today space is limited.
