Time 9:00AM - 2:30PM Location: The Fashion Arts Sewing Studio 7025 Beracasa Way Suite 206 Boca Raton, FL 33433 Description: The Upcycling Fashion Camp will focus on recycling different garments; focusing on fabrics like denim, knits and recreating fun wearable pieces from existing clothes that otherwise would go to waste. Participants will create a design using these materials and will be introduced to illustrating, designing and sewing machine use to complete their projects. Two or three wearable pieces will be completed by the end of the week. Projects may include shorts, pants, bags or other accessories. Materials for this camp are included. Please note we focus on safety first. Teaching sewing machine safety is a top priority and will precede learning sewing skills.
